Heather mead is fermented using heather honey and so has the rich, luxurious almost smoky taste of Heather. Afon Mêl Heather mead has a very distinctive flavour and is much sought after, it’s certainly the mead with the most characteristic flavour of honey.
Awarded a 3 star Great Taste award in 2019 and is the only mead to have ever won the Golden Fork Award.
